India tests underwater BrahMos missile
India for the first time tested the 290-km range , submarine-launched version of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from underwater pontoon off Visakhapatnam.
BrahMos chief A Sivathanu Pillai promptly declared, "The missile is fully ready for fitment in the 'Project-75 India' submarines in vertical launch configuration. the Project-75 India is a futuristic submarine ,which will be received by Indian Navy by 2023 and thus making it one of the most powerful weapon platform in the world.
