National Film Awards 2013: ‘Paan Singh Tomar’
Actor Irrfan Khan has won the best actor for his performance as athlete-turned-dacoit in Paan Singh Tomar at the 60th National Film Awards. Paan Singh Tomar, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, also won the best Hindi feature film.Paan Singh Tomar, seven time national steeple chase champion , who servered in Indian army. Post premature retirement , due to land feud, he had to turn to chambal, a favourite hideout of all badits.
