Legendary painter Ganesh Pyne dies

Pyne was born an Kolkata and  was known for his small tempera paintings, rich in imagery and symbols and acknowledged the influence of great painters like Abanindranath Tagore, Hals Rembrandt and Paul Klee.

Walt Disney's cartoons- He had contribution to the cartoons and  developed two important stylistic features -distortion and exaggeration .

Pyne created this new Tempera by mixing vegetable colour and other materials. He used Tempera on canvas .
