The Subansiri Lower Dam, or Lower Subansiri Hydroelectric Power Project (LSHEP), is an under construction gravity dam on the Subansiri River on the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh states.
the project is going to produce 2000 MW of electricity once completed , nut it is in the news because of detection of technical flaw.
Subansiri, 442 km long river, is the largest tributary of Brahmputra river.
