International Women of Courage Award
'Nirbhaya', the 23-year-old Delhi gang-rape victim, will be posthumously honoured by the US with the prestigious International Women of Courage Award the award will be presented on 8 march by Michelle Obama and John Kerry , US secretary of State.
The award was instituted in 2007 by US State Department and recognises women around the globe for inspiring people to fight against gender-based violence.
