Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president,is visiting West African countries Benin, Ghana and Niger. Niger is one of the top producers of uranium. Ahmadinejad is visiting as Chairman of Non aligned Movement.Iran facing sanctions on its nuclear programme is looking for new sources of Uranium.
