Greyhound Inspector's Body recovered

The body of Greyhounds Reserve Inspector G.V. Prasad being taken to Pamadu from the Kavuragatta forest area in Chhattisgarh in a tractor trolley.

When a helicopter was being fired upon during evacuation after a gun fight, the helicopter had to take off immediately. Five commandos missed the helicopter. Four reached safely , however, to their base camp, but unfortunately Prasad moved in another direction and lost his way. He was captured and killed by Maoists.Though police did not enter the forests , but an UAV captured the image of the slain officer. The decomposed body of the Inspector Prasad was received after mediation by tribal leaders and civil liberties activists.
