Drone for protection of wild life -Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park

 Kaziranga National Park located in Naogaon district of Assam, the park has two third of world population of one horned rhinoceros. The park is also home to the tigers, elephants, other wild animals and birds.Of late, large number of poachers are killing rhinoceros for their horns, which can be sold at an exorbitant price of lakhs of dollars.

Now, drones are going to be used for the first time for protection of wild life in the country. The drone will carry additional surveillance on 430 sq km park . With the help of aerial pictures, guards can be rushed to the spot where poachers are at work.
