India china Annual Dialogue on Counter Terrorism

Besides counter terrorism issues, dialogue included topics relating to cyber security. (AP)


Held annually since 2002, talks held in Beijing has special significance .the issue of re-emergence of Taliban post US pullout of Afghanistan and Cyber Security were key issues.

China is also worried about its Xinjiang province, where Al Quaeda liked militant group , the East Turkistan Islamic Movement ( ETIM) is fomenting a separatist movement.

Muslim Uygur are restive over the Han settlements.

China denied allegation that recent cyber attacks were linked army units, on the contrary, a counter allegation that they also suffered attacks and some such attacks were even traced to India.
