Pakistani Army's Border Action Team( BAT) is an amalgam of Pakistan army's regulars and Laskar-e- Toiba terrorists.
BAT on ni 5-6 August breached the LOC and ambushed an Indian patrol killing 5 soldiers in Chakkan-da-Bagh area in Poonch, where trans LOC trade between J&K and PoK takes place four days a week.
Indian government had taken a strong step in lodging a protest with Pakistan.
