The 15-nation United Nations Security Council members, including Russian Ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, unanimously adopted a resolution calling for an international investigation and condemned in the strongest terms, the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight (MH17) in eastern Ukraine. They also demanded that armed groups allow investigators unrestricted access to the crash site.
