Dhruv developed and manufactured by I Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), designed with assistance from MBB in Germany. Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv is a military version, one of which crashed near Sitapur in UP. Dhruv has been exported to Nepal and Israel and several other countries have placed orders for both military and commercial uses.
