Smart Cities. Govt has allocated Rs.7,060 crore to develop 100 smart cities and satellite towns. A smart city like Singapore, will run on technology for electricity, water, sanitation and recycling, traffic and transport systems, automated building security and surveillance systems and 24x7 high-speed connectivity of Wi-Fi-powered open spaces and houses.
