After implementation of Nitaqat Law in Saudi Arabia( reserving posts for Saudi Nationals in Private companies), Kuwait is taking a drive to reduce the number of expatriates , which form 69 % of 3.5 million population . Indian population of over 7 lakhs is the largest group affected. Most of the Indians are there with improper visa, i.e. they on on a different visa and doing different category of job.Kuwait has a 30 billion Dinar plan for developing airport terminal, oil refinery and hospitals.
