Sunda trench. Also known as Java Trench, is 2,600 kilometres long , with a maximum depth of 7,725 metres. It is located in the Northeastern Indian Ocean.
Sunda trench forms the boundary between Indo-Australian Plate and Eurasian plate ( Sunda Plate).
The trench is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire as well. It is also one of a ring of oceanic trenches around the northern edges of the Australian Plate.
