The Sam Adams Award for Integrity in Intelligence. Also called whistleblowers award. Former CIA analyst Edward Snowden was given an American whistleblowers’ award for exposing massive U.S. surveillance snooping. The award was presented to Mr. Snowden by four former U.S. intelligence officials at a secret meeting in Moscow.
Snowden is presently living in asylum in Russia, which has strained US-Russia relationship to a great extent.
