Two days strike called by 18 party alliance with Jamaat-e-Islami as major partner was a mayhem in Dhaka and Chittagong. Among 13 point demand , blasphemy law is prominent. Blasphemy demands punishment for those who insult Islam and Prophet. Hefazat members are teachers and students of several thousand madrsas. Bangladesh is presently being governed by secular Awami league.
