2557 Buddha Jayanti was celebrated on 25 May 2013. Buddha was born in Lumbini (Nepal), enlightened in Bodhgaya(Bihar) and died in Kushimagar(UP) on the same day i.e.full moon of fourth lunar month Baisakh.
