The Israeli prime minister Bejamin Netanyahu visted Sanghai on 6 may. He hoped to boost annual trade with China( from preent $ 8 billion to $ 10 Billion). He has offered China use of Eilat port and railway( located in south of Israel ( at the end of gulf of Aqba) as an alternative to Suez route to reach European markets. Israel also want to invest in Africa in partnership with Chinese companies.
Mahmoud Abbas visit was called a state visit. China supported statehood for Palestine and peaceful co-existence with Israel.China had set up an office in Palestinian territory in 1960s and it had established diplomatic ties with Israel in 1992.
