Agni II

Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile Agni-II blasts off during its test fire off the coast of Odisha on Sunday. India successfully test-fired the missile. — PTI


April 7 2013.  a training module of the missile was test fired off Odisha coast.The two stage missile was launched from a mobile launcher. The firing was conducted by the Strategic Forces Command. the missile has already been inducted into service.

    The test was conducted from Wheeler's Island in Bhadrak district, around 200 km from here, by army personnel as part of a training exercise. Agni-VI a intercontinental ballistic missile is under development, having operational range of 8,000-10,000 km.
