Located in East China Sea,between China and Japan and being controlled by Japan, but being claimed by both China and Japan. the island and its territorial water ( 12 Nautical Mile or 22 Km) is supposed to have vast resources in the sea bed.
Chinese call these islands - Diaoyu islands. Lately Chinese ships are visiting this area , which angry response by Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe vowing to expel by force any Chinese landing.
