Under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972 relating to hunting and inciting to poach blackbucks, charges have been frame against Saif, Tabu, Neelam , Sonali Bendre. Charges against Salman could not be read as he was outside country for medical treatment and had taken exemption.During the shooting of Rajshri Productions' “Hum Saath Saath Hain” in 1998, actors allegedly were involved in poaching of Black Buck dear in Karni village, near Jodhpur in Rajsthan.The blackbuck is a protected animal under the Wildlife Protection Act.
