Japan's Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko arrive in New Delhi on 01 December. The six-day visit of Japan's imperial couple is the first by any Japanese emperor to India. Akihito had visited India in sixties as a royal prince.Akihito and Michiko had visited India 53 years ago in November-December 1960 for their honeymoon as the crown prince and princess of Japan.
