The Yellow Shirt, in Thailand, are a mix of royalists, southerners and the urban middle class. They are collectively known as the Yellow Shirt. Their movement is guided by their dislike for Thaksin Shinawatra, the controversial former prime minister, who was toppled in a military coup in 2006 and lives in self-imposed exile.
His younger sister Yingluck Shinawatra is the current prime minister .but Thanksin is widely believed to be the real power behind the government of Yingluk.A
